Bad Teeth, Fear and More Fear

    Hi

I've had a dental bridge for nearly 27 years now, lasting well.

However I have a debilitating dental phobia dating back to installation of said bridge - it was a result of a dental abscess that remained undiagnosed for three weeks and caused all manner of issues.

Fast forward to now, and I've not visited a dentist in 15 years, two crowns have fallen out and other teeth are blackened.

I'm not vain in any way but I am starting to hate talking to people given the state of my teeth.

Having had dentures from a relatively young age (20) I have no issue with bad teeth being removed and dentures fitted. However I have two questions:

Can this be done under general anaesthetic in say James' or the dental hospital ?
Would any be covered under VHI ? My "pre existing conditions" limitations end soon.

    Thanks for all your help.
