Going to look at one of these today for herself, as a milemuncher that can act as a van. First off, am I mad? Is there anything in particular to watch out for? I'm hearing electrics aren't so bad with them but brakes can give trouble. Also, what's the timing belt interval for these?

Not mad at all, very good engine, gives very little trouble and very good on the motorway. Long oil change intervals so check for good service history.

Windscreen drain points can block resulting in water ingress, so check inside carefully.

We had one for 5 years and gave very little trouble.
