Was RTÉ One +1 transmitting when you scanned?

Yes all I'm hearing is what program is on, and yes it was on TV section at one point

Are you scanning for it on terrestrial or Satellite as looking at pic C it seems your scanning a satellite frequency. RTE1+1 is scrambled on satellite

When I'm scanning can't seem to find terrestrial, but when I do FTA section on Astra 2 (28.2e) I'm getting all channels including RTE news now, RTE Junior on the main TV section it's only RTE Plus 1 is on the radio section, I've re scanned twice.

I could try and reset factory setting but not sure, can't find any kind of instructions online

The Irish channels on satellite are all scrambled and can only be viewed using a Sky sub, have you a Saorview aerial attached?

With an issue like this a factory reset might be what's required, unfortunately this would mean losing your satellite channel arrangement.

In Pic F. go to Manual scan and you should be able to change from sat to terrestrial in there. find out what transmitter your receiving and input the numbers manually and scan and you will receive the saorview channels. the only thing is you might have to wait till around 7pm tonight to scan them to receive RTE1 +1. if all that fails then your best bet is to contact the lads in SatWorld 014924011 and ask them to tell you over the phone how to scan for Irish channels on the Q12. they are the suppliers of Revez products to Ireland

Thanks for the advice lads, will try that later, I just find it strange I can get all the Irish Channels bar RTE plus 1

your scanning for satellite not Terrestrial, RTE1 + 1 only starts at 7pm so if your going to scan for that during the day you will pick up RTE JR instead. you need to scan for Terrestrial after 7pm and you should pick it up.
