This was shared in my FB feed. It focuses on a Polish woman in Cork who had a child with an Irish man whom she alleges was sexually abusing. It is very critical of the family courts system. Have mixed feelings after watching it, have a feeling we're not hearing the full story.

Rather serious programme to be hosted by a Star Trek villian no?

Probably why focused on us. Didn't we refuse to extradite a man to Poland because of its changes to the legal system

    Fcuk Putin. Glory to Ukraine!

Yes, that may be, but we Irish are very quick to negatively react to any sort of criticism or negative commentary from other countries.

We are fine about putting ourselves down, indeed we seem to revel in it at times but woe betide any other country making any sort of negative observations about us. Wagons are circled and we get VERY defensive.

A reflection of low self esteem methinks...

I saw it a few days ago... It takes a lot for the court to take a child from his mother's custody into foster care, so while it's absolutely plausible that he suffered from his father, her claims that TUSLA is threatening professionals, all available solicitors are in cahoots to mislead her and the whole conspiracy took her employment as well as her tenancy away don't point to a lot of stability on the mother's side either, and that's coming from her side only.

Nobody had reacted negatively up to the point at which you posted so your point is irrelevant.

I smell bs. This happens in a gynocentric society where fathers are lucky to get to see their child once a week?

Among the odd claims was that this guy is some sort of pillar of his community and was being protected.
