Ros.ie broken?

Twice I've entered my Income Tax form on Ros.ie and, as I'm not yet ready to submit, I want to go back in and Edit it later.

When I click "Edit" I get the following error message:

    462637.png

I contacted roshelp via email and was just told I'd have to delete it and start over.

It's happened on two different attempts now, I have a feeling that when I do actually go to submit the form it will crash again.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

    right, but that wasn't submitting a Form 11 ?

It appears to be an error with Form 11 submissions... or more specifically going to edit one in progress.

This happened me on Thursday when filing a CT1, but when I looked at inbox the form had in fact uploaded.

Also lately have found sometimes get message about ROS being unavailable when go to log in but was told it’s something to do with computer seeing old image of page. Helps to clear history in browser and then reload cert from its default folder . IMPORTANT before doing this be sure you have the ROS cert backed up off the computer also for safety.

the site has been a bit wobbly of late, busy traffic time. Persist and it will upload.# eventually.

but my Form 11 is unusable... I have to re-enter it each time as it says the one I entered can't be accessed. It takes an hour or so each time.

I haven't tried the offline method, is that straightforward?

ROS online is easy. But will it not let tou go "upload a form online" and go "edit" to access the last version you attempted?

I only use the off line method for all my stuff:I find it superb
In passing have you down loaded the pre-filled version from the live ros site

“I can’t pay my staff or mortgage with instagram likes”.

I would suggest downloading the ROS offline application. Then download the form templates you want. If you filed on ROS last year you can then download a pre-populated version of the current year you’re doing. That will have data such as PAYE or DEASP income pre-entered. You can then complete the return, save it and upload at leisure.

    I'll give it a shot

Ok so ROS says it’s a pre-populated return but tbh in the case of tax returns prepoluted sounds more apt !
