Don't know anything about your dongle, but this is the one I use for iOS, and it works flawlessly.

    Congrats btw.

Buy the bulbs from here. They fit 100%. Some have to be filled down to fit in as the DRL slot is quite a small diameter and tour typical bulb doesn’t fit. These fit perfectly.

Edit - just clicked your link. They are perfect.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

    Well wear!

It would be a good help to the community in here if you would be so kind to share with us what Leaf exactly did you get and how much you paid for it.

It's a 14 24kWh Tekna with the 3.3 from Phil in electric autos
    http://www.electricautos.ie/vehicles/nissan/leaf/kildare/2123986
22K miles and 100% SOH still
Not my first color preference but i couldn't pass it by in such good condition.
I'll probably change in 2-3 years

I wouldnt attached too much weight to that. I dont think its technically possible that a 4yr old leaf has 100% SOH. They degrade just by the passage of time.

You might find it drops once you start driving it.

I have a 151 and it stayed at 100% until it was about 2.5yrs old and then all of a sudden dropped to 94%.

Interesting that it has rear parking sensors. Thats rare in a Leaf. Were they factory fitted or after market?

Little warning about these bulbs - I got the exact same ones from this seller on eBay, the first one started flickering and failed after about 6 months, the other one did the same a couple of months later, so the quality of the appears to have dropped. And it’s not like they’re cheap!

Yeah they’ll replace them but it’s a waste of time and effort imho - they’ll just blow again and I’ve no interest in taking them out which is a fairly awkward job, put halogens in, post the faulty ones back and rinse and repeat every 6 months.

Just letting you know my experience with them. I was hoping I’d get a few years out of them.

I have them fitted since the day I bought in March 2017.
One of the DRL start flickering and he sent me a replacement set for half price as it happened after 12 months.

    Hi,

I’m also interested in picking up a similar leaf to this.

Presumably you are happy with the purchase?

For myself, I drive around 20km per day with a free charging point at work.

It’s a 110km drive home to my parents which I might do once every 3 weeks.

A 30kWh should cover that distance but a 24 kWh might be risky I’d say.

You won't do 110km without managing range and will arrive at your destination with "---%" showing as remaining. I did 60k km in a 24kWh leaf before my Ioniq so trust me I know the limits :D:D

If your 110km is a regular trip and budget allows, stretch for a 30kWh.

You will not do a straight 110km in a L24 in Winter, not a hope, you will with a L30 all year round

Yeah I’d prefer the 30 kWh version.

Will see how I get on, only at the starting point of my research.

The real worl range on a 30 kWh would cover 110km safely enough?

There are 3 charging points along my route and it wouldn’t be that bad plugging in the one time a monthly I am nipping home.

Well you can get an L24 for a lot less than an L30.
So I guess how much is your time worth to you?

I’d go for the cheaper L24, and save my few grand.

Edit: 110km each way would be one stop each way. 110km total, one quick splash&dash stop on the way home would do ya.

Yeah, it’s a 110km trip one way. I’d usually be at the parents for the weekend then and there a 4/5 public charging points in the area which are ideal.

I have an ice car that I want to trade in so the value of that will depend on what version leaf I can get.
