The 2.0 litre D3 is much better and nicer than the 1.6 litre D2. 2013 would have been the year they changed over from the 2.0d 5 cylinder engine to the 2.0d 4 cylinder engines in the D3 and D4 models. I'd try and get the 5 cylinder engine as it's a bit more refined and a nice amount of torque.
Spec wise, R-Design LUX would be my choice as it mixes the spec of the SE LUX model with the exterior R-Design sporty bits. The optional winter pack would be nice to have too which adds heated seats and xenon headlights. In 2014 they got a facelift and the easiest way to tell the facelift is the front headlights, the front separate daylight running lights next to the grill were moved down to the bumper on the facelift model.
