Allergic reaction to Irish tap water

Hello, this is a strange one so bear with me...

I've lived in Ireland for 25 years, in January I went travelling for 6 months in America and Europe. Since I got home in May, I get severe diarrhea and sores on my face and body when drinking the tap water in Ireland. Boiling the water doesn't help, and I've kept a food diary for several months now to rule out other factors...its definitely the water! Im having to buy water bottled in other countries and make sure I dont drink beer, soft drinks etc made in Ireland. My doctor has no idea what could be the causing this, he took blood tests and everything looks normal. 

So I'm thinking it's a sensitivity to something in the water, has anything need added since January 2018 that could be contributing to my strange reaction? The problem is worst drinking water in Cork city centre (running to the bathroom within 30mins), but still bad  further out oof the city.
