That's allot of Can to be putting out in one go, I'm assuming that you grazed it between spreading and getting hay 3 months later?
Not giving out but why didn't you fertilise it 3 weeks ago when you closed it up? I don't know what part of the country your in but is say your to late now and outta time to fertilse grow and harvest at this stage of the game. Monday is the 1st of October and with days shortening and growth dropping off you'll be up against it. Maybe you'd be as well off to try and graze it late and hold cattle out an extra bit.
