Is there a height restriction on two storey extensions?

    Also, is there restrictions on dormers to the front, was a thinking a triangular window about 2m wide and 1m high. Local council is Dublin City Council if that makes a difference.

    Depends on the context of the application.
    Is it a new estate that all houses will have this feature? Are you adding the front former to an existing house?

    Height restriction would be the existing ridge line and that’s assuming you get planning for a front dormer in the first place which I don’t think you will.
