Recommend an auto electrician in Dublin

My right side lights are not working. Had the car at a garage today and they ran a diagnostic test and said there was a short in the system but they couldn't fix it and that I should go to an auto electrician.

Can anyone recommend one? I'm in Dublin 8 but anywhere around the city will do. Don't want to take it to a main dealer as it's twelve years old and I don't want to sell a kidney to pay for the repair!

    Thanks

I doubt you would need an auto electrician. Any garage worth their salt could sort that for you. There are basic (easy) things you could check yourself if you are willing to try.

Thanks but I've already changed all the bulbs, checked to see that there were no loose wires in the connector plug and sanded the prongs (or whatever they're called :o). I don't know how to fix a short.
