is it still ok to shear ewe lambs for breeding. I don't want to have any fly trouble but also don't want it being too cold , I was thinking of shearing them in newxt few days

Sheared all mine on Saturday, kept them housed sat night, housed again last night and will again tonight. After that they'll stay outside in a fairly well sheltered field. Just keep an eye on them for pneumonia but the dry weather this week should help even if its cold at night, not much sign of rain thankfully.
