I don’t think 10l is near big enough really.

If your going buying a heater I’d say a 10 gallon would be good.

Any electric dairy water heater, it is cheaper to leave them on 24/7 during calf rearing and also have hot water on demand. You’d buy a good sized one for around €500. Why are you reading calves it’s a fools game with the price of weanlings this year.

have an Atlantic water heater here. handy enough money at the time

as above poster said. I left it on right through calf rearing . Loads of water to make milk, wash drinkers , buckets and tools.

I have a gas heater i got from a crowd in co meath. They are called Waterboy water systems, you will find them on Donedeal.I paid 410 euro for the one i got.I feed 100 to 150 calves with it.A great way of going broke this year with the cattle prices. They prob have smaller ones as well id imagine. .Just connect a drum of gas to it and turn on the water and you will have instant hot water for as long as you leave the water on or the gas runs out.I have it about 4 years and its still working.

    Only starting off this year.
Main reason is that i dont have the feed to rear Weanlings.
    48 bales of hay.
    No Silage

I was looking at that one aright.
Is that one a straight hot water heater or does it store it in a hot water tank.
