Paint vs. Screen ???

I've only recently started considering if I should get a projector rather than a TV.

I discovered yesterday that there is now special paint for use with a projector.

I can't find any balanced reviews online as people are either trying to push screens or projectors.

Have any of you folks had experience with both? Which is the best?

In my early days I used paint, it is nowhere near as smooth as a screen.
There's a saying when it comes to screens, marry your screen and date your projector.

Save and get a motorised screen, you will never look back
