Vented tumble dryer

Looking for a vented tumble dryer. They seem to be being phased out with some manufacturers not making them anymore. From what i can find it would take about ten years for a heat pump dryer to repay the difference in price .It would not be easy to pipe my dryer from where the old one was located to a waste pipe. From what i can see a vented dryer is much faster. So after weighing up the pros and cons i am leaning towards replacing our 9kg dryer with a similar 9kg vented dryer.
Convince me otherwise if i am missing something.Looking at the few left on the market they do not seem as modern or to have some of the features available on the heat pump dryers.Any recommendations of a 9kg vented dryer with a high spec?thanks

    You're missing condenser dryers.

No interest in condenser dryers,my old dryer has the hole in the wall and would be easily fitted.I dont want the condensation in the room that comes with the condenser dryers, thanks.

I've had condenser dryers for amongst twenty years and never have had and issue with condensation j in h he room.

In fact I only really use it in the winter and it is great for heating the kitchen when it's on.

Just bought a new bog standard indesit 8kg condenser dryer, just 2 settings, no fancy stuff...love it! Never any issue with condensate with this or previous dryer, just a lovely warm room.

Modern condensor dryers dont cause condensation, when they are maintained properly.

And a lot of them can be plumbed into the waste water system so you don't even have to empty water collectors. Given the minimal price differential, I'm not sure why anyone would go with a vented machine.
