    OMG

Unless you're limited with ceiling height or levels to adjoining rooms, I wouldn't think about taking them up. We have a similar room and we're currently looking at laying Korlok (karndean -dot- com).

We're told that its very hard wearing and will not show the imprints of the tiles underneath.

    All the very best ;)

I think that's a given, unless your tiles are glued down with double sided sticky tape.

I'm presently stripping the tiles of my kitchen floor 5 metres by 4 meters of fun.

It's easy to do just time consuming. I'm using my SDS impact hammer drill. It makes easy work of the time and the adhesive below .

Have to pull it up because I've dropped a wall into another room and the floor heights do not match with tiles in place. So much fun.....
