    Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a more natural way to sooth a rash from fleas?

My dog(terrier cross) picked up a mild case of fleas, have treated my dog and house. His skin can become irritable easy so don’t want anything too harsh but I want to give him relief. He has been groomed this morning so I can get to the affected area better - any suggestions to help sooth a small rash at the base of his tail? Someone suggested sudocreme, which I’ve tried but he just keeps licking off - thanks

Ah the poor thing. Get well soon doggie. Meanwhile just wondering if perhaps wrapping some oats (I just use Aldi porridge oats) in a muslin cloth and soaking them in the little bath you bath him in might help. It really works amazingly well on my really reactive skin to soothe it and relieve it even tho I was sceptical at first when my beautician recommended it. And I guess if he licks it its healthy for him too.
