What I can only assume is BBC News Arabia broadcasting right now on Rté 2.

    Islamic takeover of Ireland begins!

    Or

Sky have f*** up the frequency

Edit: nope Saorview affected too. Rté One broadcasting it now too

It says on the screen shot that it is Euronews.
The are just playing the incorrect feed and nobody in RTE seemingly even watches their own program.

Yeah they have been trying to sneak it in the back door for a while. Constantly telling us that Alcohol is terrible and that Pork will give us a stroke.

I don't. If I couldn't ate enough full Irish breakfasts to break into meat sweats, or drink myself to sleep I'd go mad together :(

There will be blood on our streets if they dare try to shut down the bars. Seriously, I can't see an alcohol ban going very well here.

There must have a technical glitch on RTÉ broadcast feed overnight or something.

I heard that RTÉ1 & RTÉ2 went back to the RTÉ News Now feed of EuroNews early this morning.

    Baby Steps and all that.

OTT regulations to stop new entrants into the market and make business unviable for pubs, decreasing hours of sale, raising taxes, minimum pricing for alcohol, OTT warnings about how unhealthy it is, mouthpieces for obscure groups given excessive media time to tell us how terrible alcohol is, warnings on labels, telling off-licences that they cannot promote drinks in their windows, increasing advertising restrictions, extra restrictions on imports etc.

I highly doubt that's ever going to happen, don't worry just yet.

So, let me get this right, that means more pork & alcohol for the rest of us?

I wasn't being completely serious with my blood in the streets line [so calm down triggerhappy posters looking to report me and mods]

Has the public not succeeded in eating RTE alive yet? Surely it's only a matter of time.

I know, but given how some people are on here its good to point things out for them since they might miss those details.

Not like you to be sensationalist and g scaremongering, what happened?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.
