I don't know how many of us are left but I sow the garden every year for the house. Due to awkward angles and haggards I use a 135 to plough draw dung etc but was wondering should I upgrade to a new compact

Now I'd be handish around tractors but what should I do

What brands should I go for
    Where should I go

Should have went to the ploughing, you would have seen a lot of them there.

Why do you want to get rid of the 135?

Why do you want to get rid of the 135?

I don't know that I do tis a great yoke but I saw another thread on turkish tractors and I said I would throw it up

If it’s doing your job for you, I would hold onto the 135...
But, I say this for two reasons
    1) I have a 135
    2) if I could, i’d avoid spending money...

    ;)

Kubota would be a one of the most reputable compact tractor brands. You’d also see a few NH & JD tractors on grass tyres for sale on DD the odd time. Branson & Kioti are Korean tractors, don’t know much about them. Hard to beat a 135 for reliability. In saying that you’d have a lot more comfort operating a newer tractor but it will cost you. The smallest of the Turkish tractors would be at least 25k.

On my second compact here, wouldn’t be with out it. Used with, box, trailer, yard scraper, rotavator, log splitter, mower, chainharrow etc.Really comes in to its own on the log splitter-split all day on a gallon of diesel.
20 h.p shibaura, both and apart from general service, never a problem with either!
Away more economical, tidier, and more versatile, than any 135!(had one of them too!)
Only advice I’d give is if I was buying again I’d get ag. tyres rather than grass ones.
Even with 4wd rather useless on wet grass!

The 135 is a compact tractor, designed for what you want it do, does it well and easily maintained with easy access to spare parts. Don't waste your money on something else.

I got a second hand 20HP Yanmar compact tractor with front loader this year. A machine no 135 can beat. Power steering, 4WD, power shift and only 10x4 foot. Haven't had any problems with it in these 6 months.

Got it from a dealer in Waterford. He had a few second-hand tractors and plenty of attachments. Small firm but reasonable prices and really clean tractors. Check out his DD account. I think he also had a website.
