Securing outlet terminal from boiler in chimney flue

I need to do some repairs to the flue terminal and I would be grateful for advice.

The set-up is as follows - the flexi ss flue liner passes through the existing flue standard chimney pipe and is connected to a ss terminal which protrudes through the chimney flue top. The terminal runs through some expanding foam which presumable secures it in place and was topped up by, I think, heat resistant silicone, or some similar material, but not sure of this. In any event, the top layer of the filling needs to be replaced and I am looking for advice as to what to use. There is no top plate fitted in this instance - there are two chimney flue lines, side by side, in the chimney and therefore it was not possible to fit a plate etc. etc.

Any advice on the material to use would be extremely appreciated.
