    Avoid. Awful cars and engine.

Also v low mileage on a 9 year old diesel if genuine. Heading for issues surely.

This seems like exaggeration. If they are so bad why are there so many (with high mileage) on the road?

Its not an exaggeration, my daughters 2011 blew the engine just a while ago and when the Pick up truck came to take it away he said not another one, this was the fifth one he had to collect with blown engines in the last month. wouldn't touch one if i got it for half nothing after my daughters experience with hers in general.

Mainly because Opel shifted a lot of them at discounted prices to fleet where the driver wasn't paying the repair bills. The pre 2012 ones were notoriously poor for being unreliable and they were like a few other GM cars with an occasional case of spontaneous combustion.

Had an 09 diesel 160 BHP in 2010

    Awful.
Clattery and in no way felt 160 BHP.
Very inefficient in comparison to A4 Passat and 520d that ive owned.

Had several engine issues in a 9 month period and got rid. Car was just 2 years old and maybe 60k miles. Doubt it's still going.

    Build quality was shocking.
Wind noise at 50mph. One day the back window just fell into the door. 18 month old car.

Also the worst cornering car Ive owned.

I have been told that they improved a lot since. 2011 or 2012?
Bit dunno if the build quality went up with new engine.
