Hi just looking for some fedback folks,ii seem to have a  few blocked storm drains in my garden altogether ive 8 main shores in my garden, 4 of them are foul and all are fine NOT blocked. On the other hand the other 4 storm drains are all blocked, 2 in front of my garden and 2 out the back, ive been onto irish water and fingal county council, and im getting absolutely NO where all im getting is the run around, i know its not my problem as all my drains are full, ive no ideas on to where about the drains go from outside my house, the council said they have nothing to do with it as i own my property i think the only thing i csn do now at this stage is take legal action as nobody's willing to take blame on this situation i for one am certainly not

    Hi pigeon 1982,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

As your query relates to storm drains, we recommend you contact the Roads Department of your Local Authority, as storm drains do not fall under Irish Water's remit.

We hope this clarifies things and if you have any further queries, please feel free to get in touch.

    Thanks,
    Mairead
