Weed Spray retention

    Evening all,

A while back we sprayed (as recommended by a farming friend, as we had no idea how to tackle the problem) using Hygeia Under Clear to try kill back docks, chickweed and other weeds in a piece of resown grass land where we built a house. About 2.5 acres in total. Happy enough to do it as the field had been very badly over grown with docks during construction. Wasn't really thinking ahead at the time and managed to spray a portion of ground we were hoping to develop into a small garden, usual suspects, potatoes, carrots etc. but now I'm a little worried after spraying that we might have contaminated the soil and might not be the best to grow and then eat produce from same. Obviously won't be a for a good few months before we start doing anything with it, but was curious what were peoples opinions and what is the likely retention or contamination as such of the the soil after spraying. Couldn't find anything really of relevance on their site and thought experience might answer the question for us.

    Thank you all.
