Van mileage

    Hi all,i'm considering moving up the years a bit and changing my 04 vw caddy for the same make, 2011 vw caddy,the thing is the mileage is 260,000 km,does that sound like very high mileage for a 7 year old van?

    If you convert the 260,000km to miles, it comes to just over 161,000. Divide that by 7 years, and it works out at 23,000 miles per year. So, while it's on the high side, it's by no means excessive.

    Thanks for your info, would you know roughly what the average yearly km for a van is?

    I don't know....But mileage would vary a lot. I'm sure there are vans out there clocking up twice the mileage of that Caddy, and there are probably a lot doing less than 10,000km per year. How it's looked after and maintained is much more important than the mileage recorded on the clock.
