According to the saorview checker I should be able to get saorview (not looking for NI Mux/freeview HD) at my location in Belfast

Does anybody recommend an installer from personal experience, I have a freesat box with a dish so UK channels are covered.

    feel free to PM me

    thank you

Are you in Belfast? You may be able to pick up Divis with an indoor aerial. Have you spoken to the neighbours?

He is specifically looking for Saorview i.e. ROI DTT not UK channels which he alreay has via Freesat. I would recommend Lisburn Aerials as they did a good job for me re Saorview. I live in Moira outside Belfast but I'm sure they would cover greater Belfast area.

thanks for the reply, trying to avoid geo blocking (champions league) hence looking to get saorview from a ROI transmitter.

I have looked at my neighbours roofs none have an aerial pointing south its either a dish or an aerial pointing to Divis for Freeview.

Gotcha, you will clearly need a rooftop aerial. Can't help you then but good luck.

In case I misled anyone - RTE1+2 and TG4 are transmitted from Black Mountain which is near the Divis transmitter but as the OP has pointed out, sports and other 'rights' events will be geoblocked.

Plus they are all in SD (but for TG4 - slightly better SD than saorview)

Spot on. I use NIMM TG4 from Black Mountain for watching Pro 14 rugby in preference to Saorview version from Clermont Carn. Also use Saorview RTE1HD in preference to Sky RTE1 which is SD only.
