Sky+ Box hard reset

Anyone know how to reset an Irish Sky+ box on current software. There's an issue with my that arose out of the blue and Sky seem to feel justified in charging for an engineer to come out. I'd rather try a hard reset first but most of the guides I've come across are for older software and aren't working
