Storage on S8

I have an S8 since it came out and very happy with it after a few problems at the start with the camera. However over the weekend the phone now says that the storage is full even though I'm only using 10 GB for the applications and 1 GB for everything else. That's 11 GB used out of 64GB plus whatever the operating system…

I cleared the cache but its still the same ...Is a factory reset the only way to go or is there another way
