iPod not showing up on new laptop

    Recently bought a new computer and I'm having a problem when I connect my iPod to it.



    The screen on the iPod will say that's it connected and looks normal but nothing will show up on the computer itself. Also, I downloaded iTunes but the iPod won't show up there either. Anything I can do to fix this?
