Hi can you get a mortgage on a property that is not connected to water mains. The connection is there ready to go but not connected. Plus as the house is not connected it is not fit for use so is it excempt to nppr and lpt

Do you mean that it's not turned on, or there is no connection?

You would be able to get a mortgage that would be released on a stage basis similar to a self build mortgage .It would be structured for a payment release based on current valuation followed by further releases after various stages of work completed.
Obviously the extent of "not fit for use " would have to be clarified.
