Apple iPad annoying with the onscreen charger icon in spasm

The charger icon on my iPad screen keeps going from charging to not charging and making a damn annoying sound and also affects the iPads performance.

Probably moisture got at the charging port.

    Anyone know a fix?

Get a needle and clean out the lint in the iPad charging port.

Usually people suggest wooden toothpicks or other non-metallic items when cleaning the charging port.

What about using a vacuum cleaner?

Do you use the same cable when charging your phone? Is it doing the same thing when charging your phone? There could be a broken connection in the cable. I’ve had to get a new cable recently as this was happening to me. The 2 metre Belkin cable I’ve had for about 4 years has not the dust. It’s fbe first cable for my iPhone that’s ever acted up

It's a very poor idea to put a vacuum cleaner anywhere near electronics. Air moving over the plastic head of the vacuum causes a static charge to be built up. You can see where this is going.
