Advice on Gaming Laptop

That Asus isn't sold by Amazon and the 600 price from a third-party seller is a blatant scam.

What's your budget? Minimum you need is around 6-700 for a GTX1050 equipped machine for running most of the latest games at medium settings quite well.

If you want something that'll run games at medium-high for a few years, a GTX1060 would be the minimum at about 900.

What sort of games do you play? Obviously things like Fifa or Fortnite, Overwatch, etc are far less demanding and would run extremely well on a cheaper laptop in the 650 range.

Thank for the response. Really? I assumed the reviews related specifically to that product and seller. That's disappointing.

I guess the budget is circa 900, but that's the upper limit. I'd be willing to pay more overall though for a financing type payment plan.

At the minute, all I really play is world of Warcraft and Dota 2. They both run on my current system reasonably well but on minimum settings. If I invest in a new laptop I'd like to be able to play them in all their glory

The other one I thought looked the part is

    https://www.hardsoft.ie/dell-xps-13-9370-13-i7-8gb-ram

If you Upgrade to 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, UHD Display, it costs €18 a week over 36 months, which I'd be more than happy to pay if I thought it'd last me the 3 years.

That's not a gaming laptop really and it'll cost you well over 3k!...
You're better off sticking to your budget and buying outright imo.

Keep an eye on hukd, you can get a 1060 laptop for around 900 if you wait for a deal to come up.
