Gibraltar Wedding Certificate

Hi folks, does anyone know if the registration offices in Belfast or London would be able to print a marriage certificate for a marriage that happened in Gibraltar? We got married there last month, and the certs have been lost twice in the post (And they don't do registered post apparently).

I was hoping to have to avoid flying down there to collect them. Aside from having to fly via London, it seems like a 3 day process down there so I'd have to take days off work and pay for hotels while I wait.

If there's a UK forum you'd suggest I write to either, please let me know. Thanks!

No, Gibraltar is a separate jurisdiction and SFAIK they have no arrangements for UK registries to issue marriage certs on their behalf.

If all else fails, you could instruct a local firm of lawyers to obtain a certificate for you. Not cheap, but probably cheaper than going to Gibraltar yourself.
