    Hi All,

Hoping somebody can help me out. I recently have become interested in applying for some civil service jobs such as clerical officer etc and wondering is it essential to have a leaving certificate.

I am 27 and have recently finished my degree and graduated with a 2.1 but I never did the leaving cert would this go against me or will my degree be ok.

Thanks in advance for any replies!

A degree is more advanced than the Leaving Cert. You'll be fine.
