Can someone explain L1e-A to me please?

    This whole classification is confusing to me. I understand it that - the bicycle can go up to 25kmph (with throttle or pedal assist) and up to 1kw of power maximum.

    If someone purchases a bike with L1e-A classification (IE: Approved to be sold in the EU) - Is it legal to ride them like any other electric bike?
