I found an accountant but They didn't seem to 100% understand what I was doing. My records are quite detailed ... and in fairness I tried to simplify it.. I submitted my return with €X amount as my gain,

To be honest, there was so so many trades If the Revenue looked at my crypto trades from exchange to exchange and in and out of different assets, its a mind fu**k.

My accountant said a reasonable effort needs to be made , which I def did . The amounts arent huge at all by any means so if audited. I'm not overly worried. There is probbaly 1000's of people in Ireland not declaring any gains or losses for crypto so I would hope(fingers crossed) that at least is looked upon favorably .

I've reported to the best of my ability my gains and my accountant has just accepted it seems
