Galaxy S7 (Android 6,7 & 8)

    Hi folks,

    - Galaxy S7
    - purchased 2018-September from DigitalTechno via Amazon.co.uk

The phone arrived with Android 8.0 installed.
As far as I'm aware the Galaxy S7 was manufactured back in the days of Android 6.0 ... so how on earth could mine have Android 8.0 on it (unless it was unboxed & hooked up to the web to upgrade it?).

The item was advertised as new.

I'm kinda thinking maybe it's fake; is there a secure way to identify so?
The box was sealed; the phone inside immaculate.

    Thoughts?

    Regards,
    T
