Driving experiences - Mondello / Karting / Rally / Buggy?

Hi, not sure if this is the right forum for this thread, so mods please move if need to...

I need to organise a night or weekend away for a few lads for a driving experience type thing, was originally thinking some of those UK supercar driving experiences - like fly into East Midlands on Saturday morning, Donnington Park is right beside the airport, driving experience, beers that night and back Sunday. But the reviews are ****e, way too much waiting around for minimum drive time.

Instead some local options; Mondello, Rally schools (Monaghan and Waterford), buggy racing (Maynooth and Cavan) are more likely. Cavan buggys also has clay pigeon shooting, could stay in Carrick-on-Shannon for a session, might be a good option. And reasonable cost.

Other than above any other suggestions? Heard of a very good driving experience on the north coast of Scotland a few years back, but can't find the particular one online. A long weekend of 3 or 4 supercars across coastal route. A former colleague did it and reckoned it was the best but very expensive.

Also wouldn't be averse to travelling further than UK if there was a suitable suggestion. Any ideas folks?

Whiteriver karting up in Louth is class. Do the senior grand prix race on the international circuit. €75pp. Ive done those driving experiences in the UK and they are great n all but for a group of lads it's hard to beat karting.

Buggy racing in Maynooth is class. Particularly in the wet.

Karting gets my vote. Cheap enough and you can go flat out with no major worries.

The route in the north of scotland is called the north coast 500 (NC500).

Google NC500 and supercars, there seems to be a few.
The biggest seems to be highland supercars and yes not cheap (£400 per day for V8 Vantage)

I've done most of the stuff in Ireland!

Mondello - Great, but not a group of lads thing!
Buggy in Maynoith - Didn't think it was worth the money
White River - As mentioned, hard to beat!
Buggy place in Cavan - That was excellent (did it for a stags!)

Other options are The Zone in Navan. We did go karting and paintballing the same day. UK is a good about, but requires a fair bit of organising!

Be a nice wee spin, but looks to be £600 per day excl. Vat. For the DB9.

Thanks for the replies all. Hadn't really considered karting, but will. Think Cavan/Carrick is looking strong :-)

Kiltorcan karting in kilkenny is decent. Kilkenny is a good spot for food and pints too.
