Pre-connection form

    Hi,
I am currently awaiting a planning decision on a proposed house/business application. A note has appeared on the planning information from Irish Water saying they will need a pre-connection application, but I have not been notified directly.

I had looked at the business pre-connection form and had not completed it as some of the questions are outside my experience and knowledge to answer. My architect now states they have no experience of this either, and is telling me I should wait until I have been formally asked to present a pre-connection query. I am not convinced about this.

Should I send in a pre-connection form now, or wait?

Who (civil / building engineer?) would be able to give me answers relating to questions 21 to 27 on the business pre-connection enquiry form?

    Hi looksee,

We would recommend you submit your pre-connection form as soon as possible.

More information about our new connection process is available at the following link: https://www.water.ie/connections/get-connected/.

Your building/site engineer should be able to help you fill this in.

    Kind regards,
    Niamh
