Yes I am waiting for them to send out the box for it to be sent back because I’m getting virgin but at the moment I am wondering why I can’t view the free view section

The lnb on the dish for sky q works with sky q only , if you cancel you get nothing , no FTA channels, nothing!
If you want to use the dish with an FTA or freesat box you will have to change the lnb.

Ooohhhh..... I have a 4 port LNB which allowis me watch FTA to kitchen when the rest watching Sky Sports in sitting room. Are you saying that if I upgrade to Q... I would lose the FTA as well????

There is a hybrid LNB with 6 ports. If you are getting Sky Q you can request this from the installer. Most of them appear to carry them in the van but you should request it when they ring you to make the installation appointment. This will allow you to use two LNB outputs for Sky Q and up to four others for freesat/FTA boxes.

Any of the 6 outputs can be used for Sky Q, they will switch to wideband when connected to the Sky Q box.

You have to specify that you need a "Hybrid LNB" when ordering. It has both Sky Q and FTA outputs.
