How do I create a link to a post? (not the thread page but actual post and can it only be done on desktop?)

(This may be skin dependent), each post has link in the post number on the upper right, so you can just copy that one.

If you are on the touch site on your phone, go to full site (bottom of page, you can change back later). Click on the post number on the RH side of the post that you want to link to. This will display only that post. You can then copy the url from the address bar.

If you want to do it manually (on Touch), you can quote a post to get the Post ID (the series of numbers after the username) and then use https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=NUMBER as your link

If you want to link to the post, but have the rest of the thread available immediately as well (rather than someone having to click the thread title in the top right to be shown other posts), it's https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=NUMBER#NUMBER
