    Hi guys,

Im was looking at buying tyres online and noticed the current tyres on mine mk 2 focus have a tyre index of 94. Does this matter?

I had been looking at tyres with 91 till I noticed.

91 Load rating should be fine. see link below for some guidance

Load index is the weight each tyre is rated to take.

    91 is 615kg
    94 is 670kg

Somewhere on the car it should give the Gross Vehicle Weight - that's the maximum allowable weight of the car when it's full loaded and full of fuel. Don't think it's split to front axle weight and rear axle weight on cars, so 91's would be OK as long as the Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) is less than 2,460kg.
