I'm thinking of making a 500litre trailed quad sprayer, would there be much of a demand considering the 100litr ones are just a waste of time refilling

I’d say there’s time lost with the 100l, but wouldn’t say they are a waste of time, they’re not for spraying open prairie fields obviously but have their place.

I’d consider a 500l trailer sprayer as much a waste as at that size surely there tractor mounted sprayers easily available.

Would take some Quad to pull a 500l sprayer when it would be 1/2 full would be very unsteady

Weight of the sprayer full would be 600kg.
I have a 550 grizzly pulling a fertiliser spreader to take half ton bag, with ground drive it would pull heavier than the sprayer
Sprayer is less than 4 foot high and over 4 foot wide to maintain stability

I was just thinking for instance heading off to spray under fence for example, a lot more time spent on the job
Was just taking into consideration ground compaction etc.

100l with correct nozzle and application rates will spray a serious length of fencing.
