The bible makes no mention of the creation details of the red heifer. The test is whether it is pure or not (it is), and if it is sacrificed or not, and if construction of the third temple begins as a result. Time will tell.

Jesus specifically promised that some of the generation that was alive when Israel became a nation for the third time (in May 1948) would still be alive when the Tribulation begins. That is a given according to the bible. Consider that If you were born in 1948, you would be 69-70 right now, and Psalms 90:10 defines lifetime age as 70-80 years. That leaves 10 years for these biblical events to come about!

Add to that, St. Malachi (time will also bear this out) predicted that Pope Francis (who is now 81) is the 112th and final Pope, and that the Tribulation begins with the 112th Pope in power!

If anyone takes it upon themselves to knock down the existing Islamic temple to build a new Third temple, then it's not that hard to see World War 3 breaking out and causing the end of days either way

Plus that cow and calf will require a round the clock armed guard to ensure that the prophecy doesn't end up as someones dinner ...

Didn't st Malachi also say that the 112th pope would be a black pope? Although pope Francis is a Jesuit who are noted for there black robes so some claim he is a black pope.

Right I'm off to bury some canned goods out in the woods before I change the oil on my bug out vehicle and top up my ammo supplies.
