Yeah needs to be bundled. Any old lockable press will do over some sort of a bund

TBH I don't know what you supposed to have or not have,

we wouldn't be holding a large stock of chemicals as we only buy when needed

it's in an open machinery shed with a chemical storage sign riveted on

neighbour uses similar but was pulled for having a few bags of calf nuts in the same house

Is there a department specified/approved type???
The problem with everything in this country is the PTB use their own interpretation and you’d need your individual auditors preferred type.
I have a cabinet type with shelves. Actually it’s an old fridge/freezer with padlocks. Passed every Bord Bia/IGAS inspection I’ve had. Except the last IGAS when I had a madam on a power trip. Everything was in order and I had passed only she doesn’t like shelves and wants to see a chest freezer the next time she’s in the yard.

Fridge freezer took a 90 degree trip and that auld c*** can cluck off

    get an old wheelie bin

drill a small hole in the lid for fumes

stick a chemical store sign on it

chain to it to the wall

    stick a padlock on it

put in a tray 2/3rd of the way down and you have a bunded area

with a lot of bord bia audits have the main things correct(paperwork, dosing rate/date etc) leave a few small items for improvements, keeps the auditor happy and easier for them to write up the report

A freezer would be bunded due to being a sealed unit and just locked and a sign on it and drive on.

Fridge freezer would not be a problem once the powder was stored above the liquids.
