Third service hydraulic on teleporter for log splitter

    Hello,
I’m not much good with hydraulics and I was wondering could anyone advise me on powering a log splitter from the third service of a teleporter?

I don’t understand how I’d get the flow and return from the log splitter to work independently of the lever on the chest inside the teleporter.

It’s hardly as simple as jamming the lever forward? I think I’d need to bypass the lever on the chest, taking the flow and return off and attaching directly to splitter.

    Any info greatly appreciated.

    Is that all?
So that lever would just be a stopper as such on the line to the log splitter valve?

Oil is constantly flow in a circle, all the valve chest does is redirect the flow..
So the teleporter valve chest jammed on will direct the flow of oil to the valve chest on the log splitter and allow it to return to the teleporter. When you pull the lever on the splitter it redirects the oil to one side of the cylinder piston and the oil returns from the other side of the cylinder piston.

Ohhh I see, that makes perfect sense.
    Thanks for that.
You might be a good man to ask also if a mf35 would power a log splitter or would it be very slow to move the ram?

According to tractor data the 35 has 13l/min.. so would be slow enough.. depends on the size of the cylinder on the splitter.. you could work it out but handier just to try it!
