Starting hurling

    So I’ve decided to start hurling,I’m starting secondary school and all my friends play hurling so I want to join start hurling. I have been playing rugby since I was 6 I play flanker and I would have no problem saying I could be one of the best flankers in Westmeath. But during summer I am itching to play something. I played football but I found it a bit boring but from watching hurling it looks interesting. But I am nervous and want to practise some basic skills before joining a team any advice?

    Go puck around with your mates. You'll soon get up to speed. YouTube is full of drills and tips.

    Have you not just outed yourself as under the age limit for opening an account on this site?
