UK considering green number plates for clean vehicles

    Positives: easy identification for free tolls, bus lane use, free parking, etc.
    Negatives: bit of a gimmick - will there be yellow plates left once we all shift to electric? Also could encourage the road bullies who already love to drive "competitively" behind smaller cars.

    You'd have trouble driving competively behind a Tesla.

    Bad enough as it is. Drive in a Leaf on the motorway and you'll have some tool in a German built saloon driving up your arse, even though we've built a dedicated lane on the right for them.

    We used to have red number plates with black numbers/letters on them here in Ireland many moons ago.

    We should resurrect them for big gallon-guzzling daysul yokes ;)

    That's only because you think you're doing 120km/h when really you are doing 110km/h. Doesn't happen so much in the Ioniq.
