    Hi,
I work in a place where I wear a work uniform.
I have an interview for a new role within the company during the day.
Should I bring in a set of clothes for the interview or go in my workwear.
I'd be inclined to bring in clothes, but here's the thing - I have a second interview 2hrs later for some reason, so I'd be getting changed twice, in a couple of hours.

    What should I do??

Is your work uniform smart? As in a shirt and a tie?

If so then just wear that and change into your suit for the second interview.

If it's not then I'd be wearing the suit to both interviews.

If your being interviewed for a new position within the company you currently work in, it's perfectly acceptable to wear your work uniform.

    Best of luck op.

Make the effort to get changed. It'll cost you nothing but a few minutes of your time and shows a great level of respect towards the new role and professional you could bring to it.

No work uniform is typical plant/factory workwear.
No idea why there is a second interview 2hrs later

It's the company's time though, and changing twice over is a bit more than a few mins.
It's a small place too so I'm well known already

You could ask HR for their expectations. Will you be up against external candidates? If so, they're likely to be formally dressed, so you might want to match them. Will the new role require uniform or formal or ???

    Only internal candidates.
The new role will be a jeans and shirt type attire. Very casual. Never a shirt and tie. I would be wearing safety boots and a hard hat a lot of the time too in the new role.

Wear your uniform - and wear it with pride. Make sure it's 100% clean and complete. Make anything that can shine, sparkle.

Changing out of it for an internal interview would look very odd.

Would be a totally different answer for an external interview.

If I'm understanding correctly, this is an internal interview, so HR will be expecting you to be wearing the company uniform.

Just make sure your appearance is extra polished that day.

I actually had the interviews today.

I went in my normal work uniform. Pretty sure that was the right call for anybody with a similar dilemma in future.
