Fire tv stick basic edition vrs alexa voice tv stick

Hi there can someone shed some light on which stick I should get for here in Ireland should I get the basic edition fire stick or will the alexa voice control tv stick work here in Ireland .I specifically want to know will amazon video work here on the alexa voice control tv stick ?thank you

the basic will work but alexa will not, where did you get the basic one?

Amazon officially only support the Basic addition (only available on Amazon.com) in Ireland. They don’t support any other version of Fire TV.

Welcome to trying to deal with Amazon in Ireland. Happy to have us as customers of the U.K. website for some stuff, sending us to .com for other stuff (at one point they wouldn’t let Irish Kindle customers purchase titles in U.K. English, only US English versions). It’s a crazy setup.
