Sorry for starting a new thread on this (and mods feel free to close it if it's something that shouldn't be a thread) but I was just wondering if anyone here had ever suffered a broken scaphoid? I fractured mine back in May and it's still not healed. It took a bang of a football innocuously enough the other evening again…

Sorry for starting a new thread on this (and mods feel free to close it if it's something that shouldn't be a thread) but I was just wondering if anyone here had ever suffered a broken scaphoid? I fractured mine back in May and it's still not healed. It took a bang of a football innocuously enough the other evening again and it's sorer than it's been in a while and I'm worried it's set me back a good bit. Anyone else be out of action for ages with the injury? I've been told it's in a very awkward area for surgery and it's naturally slow to heal because of little blood flow in that part of wrist, but it's coming up on four months soon so was just wondering, thanks.

** I didn't hurt it playing rugby, I just thought it might be a common rugby injury. **
